I honestly have not seen more people make this mistake in just a few weeks ever before. Dude, you're getting an i7, therefore you need triple channel memory. Get 6gb, you'll save some money and won't notice the difference. Having obscene quantities of memory is just a stupid waste of money and nothing more than that.

Seriously if OP wants help he should show some respect rather than act like a immature fuck turd who has his head stuck up his ass.
His build is still crap because he's wasting a lot on parts that's not necessary and still wants a "kick ass gaming system with parts that will make him feel good" type of attitude, which it pretty stupid to IMO.
I've managed to configure up a system that will kick all of his setups in the water and it's under $800. But I'm not going to post it up as it's a complete waste of time not only that he will immediately go into PMS as it will not have the part he wants that will "make him feel good".
