I stumbled into this website searching for any info on how to mod Recettear, and while I found nothing here relating to it, I did see that many people here have a tremendous understanding of software enviroments.

So, I want to mod Recettear. As far as I can tell, the data tables are in a bunch of .bins that opening gives you a bunch of code, sometimes japenese code.

I have a number of mod ideas, ideally I would make them myself, but if I need to defer to a more experienced hand, the major mod I want to make, which would drasticly alter gameplay, should only actually require a few variable changes.

If anyone has any info on how to access the data tables in a readable way I would be grateful. If that is impossible, perhaps someone would be interested in helping me track down the required hex fields.
