Well, i need a new/2nd mouse. I have a Logitech G500 right now. I don't know why, but my index figures starting to feel weird from a lot of clicking over the years. ( I guess from all the FPS games.. ) But i was wondering if there were any different kind of mouses out there, other than the traditional type. I know of the track ball type, are they any good? Are there any other good types of mice? I would probably still use my G500 for gaming, just need one for normal use.. Thanks!

Oh, and i found this in my bookmarks from a while back, looks pretty good, but can it be used as a normal mouse? Here is the link: http://www.3dconnexion.com/products/spacenavigator.html

99 for that, waste of money imo.

Just get a gel wrist pad and a nice mouse (hand holding wise) like an mx 518.

I found it new on amazon for $38
And, I used to have the mx 518, then i upgraded to the g500. I sort of like the g500 better. And yes, i am using a gel wrist pad, and always have been.

Not really looking for an "upgrade". Im still gonna be using my g500 for gaming, but i wanted a different mouse for normal use. My index fingers getting weary from too much clicking. I was looking for something that uses a different figure as a clicker. Maybe use the thumb to click? Something like that.

Basically, you move the ball like you would a regular mouse.
