You either don't have eset or you have a fake eset installed. I use ss4 and ive uninstalled it and reinstalled it countless times.

Search registry for string "eset smart security" search Keys, Values, and Data. If you do not have it, you most likely can safely remove entries in the registry pointing to the software.

Make sure you export a backup of any registry entry you remove.

Mounting with daemon tools / using a cd will usually give you an uninstaller option.
