Alright, so, with Newegg doing their Black Friday sales, I thought it'd be a good idea to get a build. I will be using the computer for gaming, multi-tasking, etc. I would prefer if the build had 6GB ofram and at least a 500GB HDD; everything else is up to you to decide. My budget is $1000.
Edit: I need a monitor as well, but not an OS.

Lets start with the dell logo. Then we can continue on how he could spend that 449 or w/e it was for parts and do 300% better.

I love my B&M stores, instant RMA, $100 i5, $150 i7, free motherboard with certain AMD purchase.
OP, If you missed Black Friday ( click fast, don't even fucking review the order, if you getting remorse, cancel it or return it mater). There's always cybermonday where Newegg clear our shit that they can't sell early years.
Also, California resident get delicious buttsex tax from Newegg.

Oh wat? My bad, I didn't take a look for more then a split second. I saw a premade pc and I had to "fuck this shit I'm outta here" the tab. Anywho, whats this for specifically? Like which games? Or do you want it to be able to just play anything you throw at it?

Eh, mostly gaming (and possibly rendering). I suppose I want it to be able to play anything that I throw at it.

If you want to render then I would get either an Intel build i7 or get a phenom II x6 and OC it to 4.0ghz.The phenom option is cheaper but I'm not sure if you are willing to OC so the intel option is easier.
