Then please by all means, give me your opinion on a good gaming computer build for $1000-$1500. _________________

AMD cpu'sand gpus (ati) give off less heat and power consumption than intel cpus and nvidia gpu's. They are also 100% cost effective. Sticking with dell is also a bad idea as they do shit to their hardware. For instance, their gpu's have a chunk cut out of it(the teeth area) and they put a divider in thier pcie x16 slots. Basically they make it so you need their GFX cards for their mobos or you get nothing. Building a pc is easy as pie. Once you've done it you will want to again. |

Then please by all means, give me your opinion on a good gaming computer build for $1000-$1500. | A computer that much via parts off newegg, or a prebuilt gaming computer for that much [that is not a fucking waste of money]? Because the latter does not exist. I don't have time right now, but if you change your mind about insisting on a prebuilt, I'll pick parts out for you tomorrow, gladly.
@Hero, yeah, I love you. <3 you and AMD |

in my defense i will state this:
OP wanted intel, dell, premade...
budget stated was 1000
therefore i found him amd, dell, premade, and just a couple dollars over 1000 with shipping
also being premade... i cant choose everything i want... i only get whatever options dell makes availible _________________

Then please by all means, give me your opinion on a good gaming computer build for $1000-$1500. | Don't say "build" unless you're planning on building it. Otherwise, I'm gonna give your lazy ass a list of parts you can buy and put together yourself.
Additionally, don't bother giving the lower end of your budget, just give the highest price you'll go. Because really, we'll just go with the highest number you write in your post. _________________

Ripjaws are better, he doesn't need 2 fucking 460s, The board is way too expensive, if he is paying that much for a psu then he should get corsair, OVER PRICED CASE IS OVER PRICED, he could just get liquid cooling.
Everything else is fine. |

2x6850 would be pretty good, or 1 5870, but if we were going to go 5870 we may as well wait for 69xx. With games rapidly becoming more multi core/multi gpu friendly, getting a double card setup to begin with is actually not a bad idea. Ripjaws are great, I wouldn't get them for a triple channel build. I'm going to disagree with you on the mobo being overpriced, there are only a couple 1366's cheaper, and only by a little bit, so you may as well go w/ the asus because it's awesome. I don't like corsair, don't ask. If you MUST, cmpusu750 is good. As I said, the case is just a personal recomendation of mine since I know people who like it and I like it. OP can do whatever he wants.
Did I get everything? |
