So anyone have experience with fitting fuckhuge heatsink in midtower?
like, is there any space between the hsf and the ram at all?
did it improve your e-peen at all?
huge temperature improvement?
worth the money?
hsf reviews and forum are bunch of elitist faggots, i'm looking for more warm suggestion, not some pricks telling me my case suck, mod this and that, get this and that
really considering the ND14 atm, unless anyone have some cool suggestion, ( no h50,h70 please)

i would use the stock, if my shit isn't idling at 40C
i did tried the hyper212, Vendetta II, just wasn't working out, fucking AMD how do they work?
Idunno should i try lapping?
i just want something big, so they don't have to spin at jesus fucking 1600rmp+ when i'm playing vidya games
maybe the Noctua is way too big, perhaps something smaller? But not stock size small?
also, 20C room temp, 45C Core temp@25%-30% load

It would help if you state the processor model. My guess on your CM 212+ problem is that it's too tall, side panel can't close. In which case you really shouldn't be looking at the D14 either, which has a similar height.

CM Gemini II, >70mm in vertical height, fits any standard 120mm fans.

Oh i have no problem fitting Hyper 212+, Vendetta II, is a CM Scout case, sorry for poorly worded sentences first of all. Next, i'm using PhenomII 555BE X2 (i can unlock to X4 fine, but it will start giving errors once gets 70C, now at X3) @3.8ghz 1.4V
other shit:
Current Heatsink: OCZ vendetta II + AS 5 applied
Ripjaw 1600 ddr3
XFX shitty non reference bad VRM no overclock no customer support 4890
Gigabyte 790XTA UD4P w/ latest bios
OCZ 600w ModXStream-Pro 80PLus
2x 250GB WD in raid 0, + a few hotswap 2'5 Sata drivers
case:CM Scout
Fan placement:
Top exhaust 1140mm
rear 1 120mm
front 1 120mm
Side 1 120mm
Sexy phenom still burning at 45C@27load
Budget is under $100USD, cannot be bigger than the Noctua, no h50,h70

Try to find those low profile HSF or those that lay down instead of standing up.

I own 2 ND-14s and the temperatures are great, have my i7 920 and phenom x6 both clocked at 4ghz with decent temps, there is not much room for ram (the fan goes over 2 of my memory slots ) so you might have trouble with tall memory. The first case is HAF 932 and it fits fine , second case it barely fits (NZXT HADES) had to remove the side and top case fans for it to fit inside and the heat sink is almost touching the side panel.
If it fits and you can spend that much go for it, if not look for a smaller one..
