I'm just here to learn C++ game programming. Planning to make a 2D rpg game once i've learnt most of the common function used. So are ther any?
I've just googled and most of the links are dead .

Remember, with practice comes experience! You'll build functions, they'll work(or maybe not), but they won't be very optimized. Finally a whole game, it'll work, but might be slow,buggy. You'll start optimizing your code, and might even recode whole functions, to make them better, bugfree and faster.
You shouldn't be too optimistic(Though you can be, nothing wrong with that) about the first graphical game you make. you won't make a perfect game now, but after you got enough experience, you'll be making 3D rpgs with ease.
