Art now-a-days is all about being most freaky and original. A fountain in the shape of a toilet or a drawing of a crazy situation. The shit is just fucking stupid in my opinion and I think art should be more defined as to what the individual sees as art.

But seriously, don't you all agree upon stupid art now-a-days.

Some art isn't even art.
The vast majority of "art" nowadays is just random crap thrown together into a sculpture or a painting/picture or something.

Art in my opinion is a physical representation of emotion. So anything can be taken an interpreted as art.

Thus, no one should criticise others art, lest they too be criticized.

(personal opinion)

Modern art is: dry, uncreative, dry, purposeless, irrelevant to life/emotions/anything, dry

good visual arts:
- make good use of latent expressions through abstract manifestations. (Mainly talking about abstract art in general).
-capture an image in it's unique way, not through a photograph and a gray or sepia filter. (Paintings vs photography)
-give people an interesting form/silhouette. (Talking about good, high fashion clothing).

in other words, good modern art actually stands out as interesting. But this is subjective and so i'll end it there :0

your toilet is apparently considered one of the greatest masterpieces of the 20th century btw.
