As long as you're wasting all that money, it's true, SSD + 1.5 TB HDD would be more awesome. 24 gbs of ram? 8 gbs is way more than enough.

And I can see that you're probably "building" this off http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/ or similar, build it yourself.

Crap, sound card won't fit 4x GTX 480.
Make that 3x GTX480 in tri-SLI instead
Them 2 CPUs totals around $3,500, you can guess the rest

not really, some games push me right up against 4gb. i could definitely do with 8 at times.
