And I don't prefer to make marauders unless I'm really pressed.

In which case I go straight for battleships.

I usually do the best with Protoss.
I Phoenix rush their workers, whilst massing on Void Rays.
With Zerg, I tend to play a little more defensive, protecting myself and my allies from rushes, whilst teching to Brood Lords.

I haven't played as zerg yet. Only terran.

Somehow my intuition is telling me terran is the best race of the three. The balance just somehow makes me feel that.

terran is op due to the nature of the maps. All of the maps clearly favor turtling which supply depos can make unbelievably gay

3 supply+ some marines+ 2 tanks= a defense that will hold off almost any thing but Voids

I sneak in the back with my Phase Prism, and summon four Dark Templars with Warp Gates.
What do you do now?

scan and stim. DT cost so much gas and are easily countered

Edit: Are you forgetting that the most damage Immortals can take is 10 while the shields are still up?

of what zealots? Dts are 125 gas each. Thats a big investment + if the prism dies your investment is gone

I found out why I keep losing in starcraft 1. I mass photon cannons and just survive until all the players are dead. If I have to look for my own resources, then I'm the first one to go.
