Will be for college but I will also be playing games on it.

Toshiba-

Ienovo-

I've done some research and I think I've narrowed my search down to these two, What does computer talk think? Could you find anything better in the same price range?

Guess OP can tell the difference between a captial I to a small case l.

I'll go with OP's 2nd choice, the IdeaPAD.

I'd say go with mine due to 1year accidental coverage, same resolution (just a higher pixel density), 7200rpm hard drive, better gpu, webcam,

Other Thoughts: -I can run Battlefield:Bad Company 2 on this laptop on medium settings at perfectly smooth fps.
-Counter strike source runs with no problems on full settings even with the new motion blur
-WoW runs on full settings with no noticeable fps drops

So yeah

A few reasons not to compared to the leveno

Intel Core i5
Screen: 14"
Card Reader: 2 in 1 card reader, SD, MMC
webcam: 0.3MP

The only thing that laptop has going for it over the leveno is the hard drive and really that won't make to big of a difference.

"Sreen Size 15.6"
Wide Screen Support Yes
Resolution 1366 x 768
LCD Features LED backlight"

That is the lenovo

MSI:

"Screen Size 14"
Wide Screen Support Yes
Resolution 1366 x 768
LCD Features LED backlight"

So really don't be an idiot on that.

Screen size allows you to take it to other places and not have a horse on your back.

Also if your playing GAYMEN on a laptop an RPM on (esp a laptop) a hard drive will make a difference.
