I use autohotkey as macro, but you can't assign any commands in it. Works on nearly any other program...

"Autohotkey" is a program for writing macros. But the macros doesn't affect cheat engine...

So you'll need a different hotkey program or just press the hotkey yourself manually
But really, what and why do you need to scan every 8 seconds ? (and then why automate that, the chance that it goes wrong and results in scanresults that are useless to you is very high then)

Yes, and the macro made in "autohotkey" does that automaticly..

"Autohotkey" is polling the keyboard. Help file: "AutoHotkey is a free, open-source utility for Windows. With it, you can: Automate almost anything by sending keystrokes and mouse clicks. You can write macros by hand or use the macro recorder..."

See "Finding timer value" in this forum. Haven't succeded doing it manually because I get too many adresses in the end of the search. There are just a few adresses that disappear by each new scan, and I can't change the value in the game more than 2 times each time. Or else i must reload it, and then the timer must get a new adress (because many adresses dissapears in the scan after that which beyond the reload would have been there). Little difficult this..=P
