I was thinking of saving for a cheap computer to use as a server from home. But the only problem I'd have is the power uptime. My house is prone to having short power outages. I'd need some sort of backup power.
Any ideas?

Most likely not gonna happen. If shit turns off it turns off, even if you have a power supply for when it does go off it won't last long. Those things are meant so you can turn things off safely before it gets shutdown automatically due to lack of power. |

I just looked into it, those are damn expensive ;_;
I guess I'll just have to deal with outages for now.

It is for my site...
And if I get more than one computer, I can start selling hosting services.
Minecraft thing is a nogo, I got tired of having to restart shit and tell people what to do.
Game servers aren't my thing.
