Well ofcourse it all comes down to playstyle and preferences and so on, but in my opinion Twisted Fate is NOT the main DPS of the team, neither the carry. To me, he's a more like a support like class. - Yes he can do a decent amount of damage, and yes he can gank alot, but imo you should focus on disabling via your goldcards. As I said before, the more goldcards you get, the more skilled you are with Twisted Fate. Now, since you now have you focus on disabling, then cooldown reduction is what you're gonna get. BUT - If you go for CDR straight away, you'll fail.. Alot. Twisted Fate was back in the days a full AP character. Nowadays most people play him either Attack Damage, or Attack Speed. I like to go hybrid. Not only does it allow you to be more efficient in every situation (instead of putting your focus to one), but you'll also kick the enemy team in the face .. "Oh, TF is going AP, buy MR!!" - "Nevermind... He's hybrid .. (sigh)" - You get the point?
The way I play the gypsy king, is to start out with a mana crystal and some pots (just in case). This is going to become a Sheen. Once you get sheen, get your upgraded boots next, not just regular boots. Usually I take Swiftness, unless the enemy team got a serious amount of CC (Positioning is very important for TF, so if you're doing that right, you wont need Mercs, and the added movement always helps). Next up is the Rageblade. It gives you everything you need, AP,AD & AS. Hybrid starts :3 When you have these three items, it's usually about time to teamfight, unfortunately you're not quite done with your build yet, so untill you get your next item, you gotta play it safe, untill you get Nashor's Tooth (starting with the Mana Regen -> Codex) This gives a serious amount of CDR, AS and AP + The mana regen is always nice. Now you're getting interesting. With the right masteries you got a 2 sec stun with 3.6 cooldown - and that's without the golem/blue buff or any reduction runes. The following items are completely up to you. If you're having a hard time, get either some armor or magic resist (Guardian Angel / Banshee's Veil), on the other hand, if you're smacking the other team, just get more damage, like Infinity Edge.
This setup will not completely roflstomp the enemy with über damage, but the serious stun is serious business.. You'll almost leave their carry completely useless while damaging him/her.
Since you start out with AP items, it's important to get your AP nuke fast, but without loosing your utility. my build order is always like this
W
E
Q
Q
Q - Untill Rank 3, Wild Cards are close to useless, but once rank 3, they're neato
R
The previous is what I had alot of success with when it comes to playing Twisted Fate.
I hope you can use it, and good luck reaching Level 30 :]

You are doing it wrong, Twisted Fate shouldn't be played AP since he got nerfed because when all your skills are on cool down, you can't do much.

Thats why I'm playing him hybrid. Sheen + Rageblade gives you a neat attack damage, so if they build tons of magic resist you just go for attack damage. And regarding your Cooldown stuff, with a Nashors Tooth, and the correct masteries, your abilities has close to no cooldowns, and thats without the blue golem buff.
And as I said in the previous post, TF is not the main damage dealer in a team, he is a stunner, and he's freakin great at it. Yesterday I happened to smack another TF player, he went for ad/as build. I won every time, he never beat me (and he was mid i wasn't, him -> higher level). Don't just listen to everything on the forum .. Yes, TF's abilities has received a nerf, but that doesn't leave them completely useless? I know you're skeptic to my build, but seriously, try it out. It's amazing how many you can roll over.
- Again, it's all about opinions and playstyles. This is just how I prefer to play Twisted Fate, and it's what gave me success. So no, I'm not "doin' it wrong" when I'm winning like a boss, am I?

Sorry for the double post, but Fantasy...
That Singed build is...amazing.
I was in a 4v5 for half the match and I didn't die until halfway through.
Went 13-2-11.
I laughed while the enemy team called me a coward for leaving at 1/4 health while my Ashe who was one level lower than the enemy Ashe laned against her, all the while my poison slowly destroying theirs.
I think I'm going to buy mspeed quints though, because I really need that speed early game.

Well played Oblivious :]
And sounds like a good idea with the movement speed, because being able to catch up on people, or just simply run faster than everyone, is kinda important on Singed. I'm glad you like build, and yea, Singed poison is awesome especially because sooo many people is still underestimating it, and just runs after you or stand in it, untill they realize they're on 1/3 health and then you got them.
Another general trick, is psychology. Piss them off everytime you kill them (without direct insults - can get you reported). If they're angry at you, they'll start to make more mistakes, just to get you, and you can use it to your advantage. Alot more on this kind of gaming is in the Playing to be Evil: It's Good to be Bad Guide. It's really worth reading. - Using this, makes you an ass. But you win, so who cares :b

I actually read that guide, great read. What runes do you currently run on Singed?

Haha, ofcourse :)
Well, Amumu is mainly a tank for a mage team. If you could team up with either an Annie or a Fiddlesticks, then you're going to kick ass. Amumu is one of the best initiators, but as with any other tank , you need to have your team ready to run out as soon as you pop all your abilities.
[Not skillorder]
Obviously you're gonna start out with your Q spell, to first of all get in the middle of the enemy team, and this makes you able to use all of your other abilities. After using your Q, then try to normal-attack as many as possible before using E or R (Due to your passive lowering their magic resist = you'll do more damage) - Usually you'll hit around 1-2 before you have to pop the rest. Another thing you can do sometimes, it to activate your W before you initiate. But be aware, you gotta initiate a few seconds after you activate it, or you'll run out of mana doing the teamfight.
As I said before, if you team up with Annie or Fiddlesticks, you'll bring serious destruction. If you can time up your initiation (Q-W,R,E) with a Fiddle jumping in with his ultimate running, while they're stunned, it's close to a 'free'-ace. Almost the same with Annie, Tibbers and the wave of flame thingy (forgot name T_T) and they're all close to being toast.
Amumu is also great against other tanks, due to his W is based on % health. So the more health they have, the more damage they take, and it synergies very well with his passive, making you able to do even more damage.
I like Amumu because he's got a high base health, and some serious (aoe) stun, plus a truckload of aoe damage for a tank. He is really a serious threat to the enemy team, if you know what you're doing with him, and you got yourself a Fiddle in the pocket.
My build is quite simple actually, but works wonders.
Doran's Shield + Pot
Standard Boots
Heart of Gold
Upgrade Boots (depending on team, so either Ninja or Merc)
From there on, you just buy either Armor items or Magic resist items. If the enemy team has alot of magic damage, Abyssal Scepter can be a great item, it protects you from them, but allows your initiation combo to deal alot more damage. It works wonders. On the other hand, if they're attackdamage, Sunfire cape is awesome. After you got 2-3 mr/ar items, upgrade your heart of gold to Randuins Omen. Amumu is all about AoE stuff :3
- I do not Jungle him. I don't like the idea of tank who's not present.
- Remember to hit your target once before popping abilities, to proc your passive and do a little bit of extra damage (:
Ask if you want to know more, this was written from the top of the head so I'm sure I missed alot :b
Hope it helped anyway :]
Edit1 : Forgot skillorder... I actually don't take my Q untill level 5. E is your main ability, then comes W, and only one rank in Q because you only need it for stun. So -> E,W,E,W,Q,R [Priority: R,E,W,Q]

Well, you play him right. After all he's not so common in higher gameplay, but I'd suggest you skip the CDR for some health or mr/ar. Since he is a tank mage, his cooldowns doesn't really need to be lower for him to be effective. The best trick I know with Nunu, is to stand in the brush, and pop your ulti while the enemy is outside the brush. They won't see the circle, the only indicator they get, is that they get slowed, and after a few seconds they take massive damage.
In higher games, people aren't having any problems avoiding Nunu's ultimate (unless he uses the brush trick) so he's kinda useless since his only damage will be the ice blast thingy. But loads of health and AP, that's the way to roll him. (Rylai's almost ensure you to hit with your ultimate due to the slow).
But in general, start playing some of the top tier champions instead (: I'm not saying he can't be used in top tier, but there's alot of other champions that work better.
Sorry for the not-so-in-depth answer, but I'm in a hurry ^^
