Well basically my problem is that no matter how i overclock my graphics card it always fails furmarks stability test. And what i mean by fail as in it crashes and i have to restart my computer because the card is all screwy. And i know its fine on default settings and im not really increasing by huge margins at all. So do i just do like 5mhz and test it and keep going or what?

Is it possible that it is pre-overclocked? (IE from the manufacturer?)

fur-mark is an unrealistic test to begin with

yes, that's basically how it goes. up it by 5, run something. if you run into trouble, back it down a sizable chunk and let it be.

Also maybe your memory is getting too hot? Overclocking memory usually holds back the core clock.
