im attempting to change the mission timer in CoD:MW2 Spec Ops...
I cant search for a value like this...
1:12:12...
they go from 10 minutes all the way to milliseconds,
how the hell can i find this value, i even tried searching plain seconds.
like if its 12:12 seconds... i search 12, doesnt work.
This is a repost since theres almost 15 replies and 3 threads after my previous one which tells me no one will reply to that...

Don't bump nor double post. either try to search for them seperatly, or add them all together, and try different searches (4byte,2byte etc)

perhaps 12:12 is stored as 732 ?
Or the time is stored as "gametick that the timer finishes" and gametick is a game variable that increases every second you play the game ?

confused, all im trying to do is be able to maniupulate the timer in the spec ops missions so that i can freeze, slow down, stop, resume, change, or anything that would allow me to have a lower time then normal with CE...
how do i do this...
I can't search 5:21:21... It goes down to the very milliseconds...

Try "unknown initial value" scan, then "decreased value" until you're left with the address you want.
Not positive, but that should work.

I think i understand what you mean some guy, but ... the specific timer im trying to change counts upwards. 1 2 3 4 ... , so wouldnt i go increased"? and if its a countdown timer like a race against a clock it would be decreased...
so basicly i just keep alt tabbing and CE will scan automaticly for any Increased or Decreased value change until i get the value of the timer?

Yes, if it's going up select increased, if it's going down select decreased, and repeat until you can find the desired value.
