1. Take this image:

And do this:
Make the background transparent.
Resize it....to maybe avatar size (or larger)
Angle it about 45 degrees up

2. Take this image:

And do this:
Remove the outer left and right edges, keep the shadows
Shrink it enough to be...like a "column logo"...so it could fit along the sides of a post, as such.

Firstly:

I removed the background, and then cropped it down to a size that I found appropriate for an avatar.
In case you have any OBJECTION!'s towards size, I also attached the unresized image.

There's still some pixels left that I can't be assed to remove, but they're unnoticeable after resizing, as shown above.

Secondly:

I don't really understand what you mean by "Column", so I just removed the edges and left it as it is. Since it was impossible to only remove the background and keep the original shadow, I just instead recreated the shadow. Hope you don't mind.

By column, I mean something like....uhhh...this:
This image is taller than it is wide, for example


I just need the image skinnier, but not all distorted, missing stuff, and shitty looking.
