|
|
This is just a barely-modified copy-paste from it's original post(was in the MapleStory section -- R.I.P.)
I no longer have the source code, so, unfortunately, any bugs will have to go unfixed. This is based off of the CE source from oh, 3 years ago? And although I was a decent programmer/UI designer, I wouldn't doubt that I didn't test properly back then. Sorry =/
Despite all that though, this product of mine got loads and loads of attention and fans, and I still read requests for it fairly often, so don't be too distraught by all that.
Summary: Mini Engine is an altered cheat engine, with the main intent being to alter the design. I modified the look on the disassembler/debugger to be more similar to OllyDbg, using syntax highlighting and such. At the time, Mini Engine implemented a lot of useful changes to the UI and extra forms for understanding the disassembly, reading data, and modifying code. At the time it was a "pioneer" for CE modifications, as it's implementations were the first of it's kind, not just following the same theme everyone else has done.
It's UI was centered around being extremely customizable and often minimalistic. Allowing people to show/hide what they needed/didn't need. Another motive here was that pages were filled with random CE's that changed almost nothing but an image in the background, a text color, or re-arranged a little bit. Most of them had different bugs from one another, and were just used to 'whore rep' -- Mini Engine successfully put an end to that, and got the CE modifying community more interested in adding functionality than just changing themes and putting your name at the top.
Now for the original post:
Alright, Mini Engine is back (although GameGuard's faggotry has caused me to go by the name of Mini Anchor... fuck that name)
Edit: At that point 'back' meant it was undetected again.
I've added plenty, changed plenty, fixed plenty, and taught plenty.
All in all, have fun. The tutorial, upon clicking the final button, will tell you a lot about the engine so you can know it before you know it. I do suggest you read up on them. I believe there were 45 boxes, but it could be 36 or 54. Trust me, however, they're all worth their worth.
Oh and uh, it bypasses rev 1007. If you want to know if it bypasses anything else, just try it out yourself and post the results.
Unomodified skin look: (no syntax highlighting either)
Will have to upload a new picture soon. If you have the old one please send it to me (Pretty sure CE didn't work on Windows Vista/7/XP x64 at the time and I haven't reinstalled XP yet)
DarkMaroon.BG (included):
Same issue as above
You still must complete a Tutorial (Learner.exe) to access the engine.
The tutorial is, by far, much simpler. However, this time it doesn't have bugs and has a step in which it doesn't explain anything but the objective.
Go for it

If you want this posted anywhere else, ask ME to do it. Don't take it upon yourself to release my work.
All bugs should be addressed in the Bug Solutions.txt file. If they aren't addressed there, feel free to tell me (But remember: I can't edit it anymore, as I no longer have the source. If you want the source back in my hands, find Appalsap for me and see if she still has it)
Credits:
Dark_Byte for the original CE coding
(Edit: Had credits to people for it being undetected in MapleStory, being Yoki and ColDDoT, but considering it's 3 years old I'd say it definitely isn't undetected anymore)
Everything else... to Uzeil/Uze/Me.
Have fun and uh... support the Keep-Idiots-Away-From-Mini-Engine cause. Throw rocks, pebbles, sand, and anything near you (a CPU maybe?) at anyone trying to exploit Mini Engine for attention, and the same with the people complaining about "the tutorial is tooo hard" or "I'm too good for this tutorial".

If you did the tutorial a good long time ago and haven't reformatted it's probably still in your registry.
Now that I think about it I wouldn't doubt that I didn't even think about people just putting it in their registry that they've done the tutorial.
WAIT NO NEVERMIND I remember I made computer-specific codes for that. You'd have to make a keygen :s
Anyway, but yeah it's probably in your registry from the last time you used it? Or maybe it was that I let you use Mini Engine to do the tutorial but didn't let you attach to other programs? I honestly don't remember at all. If you still want to do the tutorial either way, it's Learner.exe or Learnerer or whatever it was at the time :s

Uze, is there any way to bypass this. I was gonna click the fucking escape button that moves but it moved out of bounds so now i'm fucked up royally. I don't want to do that again :<
EDIT:
Think it works now, just tried this thing on R4League, goes undetected while scanning, editting values.
It does tell me this when I try to find out what writes:
Code: | ---------------------------
The Mini Anchor (by Uzeil)
---------------------------
Can't do that. You are using Memory Exceptions; only 'What accesses' is permitted.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
|
Is that caused by not finishing the tut?

Oh well about the tutorial haha This isn't the time of "MapleFags" anymore, I don't mind it being removed. Would be willing to crack it myself even.
Anywho, no it wouldn't be caused from not finishing the tut. That message is one from that version of CE, not from myself -- it's almost certainly that your settings are are set to using Memory Exceptions(as it says).
I made the default settings a bit different from the default CE settings so that it would be undetected from the get-go. You may want to toy with them if features you want are disabled.

whats the point of basically having a modified "cheat engine" if its detected. First i wish some one on here would make one into a dll. so i could inject into games. Then scan for the codes health etc.....
If i have made mistakes in my grammer sorry im not a wizard at LA lol...

Maybe the people too lazy to read the posts would understand if I had a picture.
Then again, since what was altered in Mini Engine was mainly to make code easier to analyze/more meaningful to the eye, and writing code more easily checked, many of those people wouldn't understand why one would want these features anyway(lol).
But Haxory, would you mind posting a picture for me? Just open up some forms, have syntax highlighting on so you can see it's use, and try to arrange as many forms as you can to all be visible.
Important forms would probably be: Disassembler, Auto Assembler, Main Form, Data Analyzer, maybe the Reference Tree(assuming that ever got released).... yeah
Unfortunately I had work to do on the syntax highlighting but never got around to it Oh if only I kept my source. (I had completely stopped programming/hacking when I did a reformat in the past, and decided I'd rather not have the source anymore and be able to legitimately say "Sorry, can't make a Mini Engine v4.0" like everyone was asking for)
Note: Two of the things that I did got implemented into CE: Syntax highlighting in the auto assembler, and the ability to click a jump in the memory viewer and have it show where it jumps to(the arrow). However, the jump arrow isn't fully functional in CE as it only works if both memory addresses(the jump and the reference) are visible to you at the same time. And in mine if you click something that's referenced by a jump, it'll show the arrow from that jump(or multiple jumps). Not sure if the current CE does that.
Maybe I'll manage to catch Dark_Byte again and collaberate on CE 6.0 wth him (or maybe he's already done something on CEF to make that easy for me, like the CE Source section, and I've just been too lazy to find out)

Hmm why does main window look so odd? o_O Seems to be missing it's border, which additionally made the bottom get some big gap since the border at the top is missing :S
Weird.
Anywho, thanks I'll put it on the main post
EDIT:
Baw you didn't put any syntax highlighting Anywho, I'll probably give in and download it now as I'm curious. Though I'll be surprised if it's fully functioning(using Windows 7 64-bit)

It's glitchy on win7. About the window, it's an option, widow border, none, normal and tool widow. Forgot to turn it off, also, where is the highlighting option?
