Frostwire connection issues.

I have recently moved house. My internet is now provided by the University close to my house. I can browse just fine, download torrents etc. however FrostWire can't connect. I suspect the ports may be blocked by the Uni. It worked fine on the exact same computer at my old place. Is there a way to get around this?

unless you're looking for trouble, you should be avoiding networks like that anyway

Just acquire your music from other sources, like rapidshares.

Frostwire sucks. And by network, slovach means Gnutella (the BitTorrent network used by Frostwire and Limewire), which has viruses in every corner.

Very helpful guys, great job. I think I know what you mean.
Have you tried going to the Community chat, and go to the #support room.
And then type ?connect, you will get a whisper with a new port. This will help you to get a connection.
