I want to upgrade my computer to a 6-core, and also decided to upgrade my video card while I'm at it. I currently have the 4850, and took this into consideration; http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161330 but are there any better cards for under 300?
I also want to OC the processor, so i'm going to need to find a new cpu cooler. I'm not good with finding these, so could someone help me find a good one for under $50-$60? (Fan/Watercooler, doesn't matter). Thanks. _________________

I buy hexcore just because regardless it barely makes any difference except for multi-threaded application, because a quadcore doesn't really cut my needs.
for cooler, look at some Megahalem, tuniq shit, or Noctua SSO cooler if you feeling rich as good watercooling kit would nearly run more than your CPU itself pre-filled shit such as h50 are crap, as you going have to buy fan for the push and pull effect anyway, not really worth it unless you sleep right next to your computer _________________

You could get the 5770 or 5830 for graphics card. for a good cheap like 30-40 buck cooler you could get the Xigamatek S1283 CPU Cooler i dont know the current prices but its pretty good. _________________

Do you think i can get the hexcore to around 3.6ghz+ w/ that Xigamatek cooler? Im getting the 2.8ghz hexcore. Im also willing to pay a little more for the card. Like around 300-350. Maybe more depending on the price/performance. I want one to last a while.. that can play game like bfbc2, SSconviction, .. etc. _________________

5850 is as good as it gets for 300 bucks. 400 gets the 5870. a GTX480 is like 500 bucks, and for only a 10 - 20% difference? I rather save myself some cash and OC it like a boss. |

Not much. buy some Xigmatech, Noctua shit and overclock the fuck out of your hexcore and still get out-performed by a quad core. _________________
