Hello, I'm new at this forum so I'm really sorry if this is not the place to write this question.
I have a problem in changing a memory value.
lets say I want to hack "Little fighter 2" and I found a boolean parameter that says if I'm dead or alive (0-dead, 1-alive)
When i change the value of this memory, he returns to its original value and if I freeze it, he doesn't care. still acting the same.

Another question, alote of time when I try to hack a network game, which has no game gurad of any kind of protections, I can change values at my client side, but it doesn't really happening in the server. if for example I play Counter-Strike (not the original verion) and i put 16000 Money and freeze it, It shows me that my money is allways 16000 but he CAN run out. I only see like its working but it doesn't REALLY working.

1: because that boolean is just a write only value. It's set when the game has determined you're dead. So when you set it to 0, the next time the game checks if you're alive or dead, it sets the value to 1, because you're dead

2: That is because the server you play on had the money, not your computer. It's just telling you the amount of money.
