I tried the getinfo and increasing the volume in Itunes method but it didn't really make it any louder. Is there any program/other way to increase the volume on and Ipod 4th generation?

as of now, no.
I hope you only want to increase the volume on speaker because if you're listening to your music on full volume using ear buds, you're seriously damaging your hearing which can never heal

Why would you ever need to make the volume higher? Dead lord, my volume is on the lowest or close to it at almost all times.

I tend to see this often.
Friend says wonna listen to something, and I say ok, to get my ears super blasted, and they say that they can't hear it.
I keep my volume on extremely low compared to lots of other people.
