Hello! I got a problem i just found that i have a virus called smss.exe
Quote:
1) smss.exe is a process which is registered as a trojan. This Trojan allows attackers to access your computer from remote locations, stealing passwords, Internet banking and personal data. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.

When i try deleting it (File is located in C:\Windows) it says that the virus is running, but when i open the process and try closing it down, it says that its a system.

Help please.

Restart in safe mode and delete it.

because windows is going to let you delete the Session Manager Subsystem. Too many programs run behind it.

Now that freezerburn has been an idort, use a windows search and find any smss.exe not located in the system32 folder. Delete any that are outside system32. Run malwarebytes like said. If all else fails it may be a rookit type.

Either safemode + delete/antivirus.

or download and install unlocker:
