My Dad cannot send emails to yahoo mail users from his Outlook

It goes to his sent box but they never receive it

What could be the problem?

Why does he need to link Yahoo with Outlook?
For Yahoo, all your emails are no the web, so you won't have to worry about backing up or other crap.

He can try Mozilla ThunderBird.

Okay my bad,
The problem is he cannot send emails to yahoo domain users from his outlook
