Its not as if they sell anything on usb anyway. Its all cds and it will remain this way for a long time. Digital distribution is coming into effect, but dvd/cd software distribution is still the most adequate way to get shit to people.

This is also true. CDs cost less to make than flash drives, a lot less. Plus, you can write/put a label on a CD, you can't really with most flash drives.
