Cheat Engine

If I run Cheat Engine, and then close it and then I run a game with GG protection the GG thinks CE is still running even though I killed it, and will reboot my system.

This is a pain in my arse because, I run a webserver and have multiple hard drives which are trucrypt encrypted with different 20 character passwords, all of which I have memorized and used upper/lower case characters including numbers.

I have to re-mount the drives every reboot, then restart the server.

Will a future version of CE ever completely unload it's self from memory to prevent this?

I would make a UCE, but I have never yet been successful at that as I lack the knowledge to do so.

if you used any of the extra options in settings then when you're done you must run the kernelmoduleunloader that comes with ce

start->programs->cheat engine 5.x->kernel stuff->unload kernel module

alternatively, just don't play any games with GG
