what the ef is up with the spawn rate?

i take two steps and i have to battle. it takes like forever to get through a single batch of grass.

im in a cave atm, so you can just img what a pain in the ass it is.

Are the spawn rates in this game increased? Or is it just me?

Go back and play some old ones to refresh your memory of this fact.

ok, i found my problem.

Apparently if you have the Running shoes to be automatically on, you "Make noise" that disturbs the pokemon and causes them to jump out more often.
If i run manually, then encounter rate is lower.

that's a nice feature to add in the game :0
