IMO they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

MW2-An arcade shooter that's really fun because it's run and gun where you can customize your weapons, perks, and killstreaks.

BBC2-A great shooter that takes strategy to overcome your foes, this isn't some run and gun shooter you actually have to think before you do. Bullet dropoff is also incorporated into gameplay, having to compensate for the dropoff at different distances.

Strengths of MW2
Fun
Arcade shooter that you can pick up anytime
No strategy required, crouch in a corner, point, and pull
Killstreaks are customizable
Guns are customizable
Equipment and special grenades chooseable
Being able to pick a match type and if you don't like that match, dropout of it then pick a new one in a short time
Instant bullet travel, good for sniping

Weaknesses of MW2
Easily modded like crazy
HORRIBLE GAMING COMMUNITY
A LOT of cheap fucks (scavenger, danger close, noob tube)
Shitty hosting system(It will pick me with my 5$ internet connection then kick me from the game for having it)
Shotguns become ineffective after 15ft

Strengths of BBC2
It looks BEAUTIFUL
Good gaming community
Bullet dropoff
Shotguns for any class
Shotguns ACTUALLY WORK!
You can pick your ammo type, slugs, buckshot, ect for shotties
Gadgets
Vehicles

Weaknesses of BBC2
Bullets seem to be pretty weak
Almost EVERYONE is a fucking recon guy that snipes
Sniping with the M24 is a bitch(you have to cock the bolt again and it seems to take a while)
Grenade indicators are fucking small

Personal Hates of MW2
Camping snipers
Shotguns don't do their job
Marathon Lightweight Commando knifers
Hardcore noob tubers/explosive users

Personal Hates of BBC2
You can't lay on the ground(pisses me the fuck off sometimes)
When running you can't strafe with the left analog like in MW2
Grenade indicators are so tiny

In all they have what the others don't, having both is fucking awesome.

Actually, i was pleasantly surprised to find there are not many recon players, just the same as it's always been in any battlefield game, i know lots of people who hate the idea of being a sniper.
