|
|
Alright, I removed a few old programs I had (Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver CS3) to make room for the new ones, but they didn't show up in the Add/Remove Programs section, so I deleted them from my HD through Programs/Adobe (Do'h bad idea, it was late) and removed all entries in the registry related to them.
They are grayed out on the Adobe Creative Suite installer. How can I fix this issue and get this shit installed? I'm a web designer/developer so I mother-fluckin' need it.
I've tried CCleaner to clear out the registry, clean up temp files, and I still can't install the programs I've had before. I'm guessing maybe there is a location somewhere that Adobe saves something to identify what is/was installed?
edit: This is what it looks like when trying to install:

Found and deleted, but now for whatever reason Setup.exe isn't running now. I think I'm just going to reformat, this is a stupid issue, Adobe sucks monkey balls in my opinion.

why would you reformat just for photoshop? Also are you installing from a folder or mounted iso?

It's the online trial download, then a hosts file fix.
Anyway, it's the entire suite, not just Photoshop. I'm a web designer/developer so these are a must, and I've already reformatted and got it all set up again. I plan on just backing up an image of this in case something happens later on.
