				| No. The graphics card is not good, you cannot get around the inevitable fact that good GPU's are expensive. | |

				| CPU: The Core i5 600 series are actually dual cores with HT enabled as well as internal graphics
RAM: This is socket 1156 not 1366 so by using 6GB of ram (3x2GB), you won't be using your ram's full bandwidth. But it all depends what you want, ram capacity over ram bandwidth.

Chipset: Much like the H55, the H57 is designed for HTPC so those VGA,DVD,HDMI connectors you see on the board are non functional unless you have a CPU that supports it.

Graphics: 3 tier of the HD4000 series, great for HTPC, and very simple light games. Anything higher and this card will hang itself.

Overall it's a pretty decent casual machine for its price and it comes with a OS.

				| The OS is not a problem. The real problem is that I'm not sure if I'd be able to put these pieces together and get them to work... _________________

You don't need to post about it either but you still did.

				| Athlon II X4 is much more than "livable" even for a heavy gamer. I have an Athlon II X4 620 with an HD4870 and I've not had one problem, and so far every game I've played on my computer I've done on highest settings (Stalker, Fallout 3, ME1&2, FC2, Shattered Horizon, etc.) and gotten great FPS. And the soundcard is completely worthless. No one really needs anything more than their integrated unless they have an extensive home theater system.
@Skam8, it's not nearly as hard as you think. It's like putting together a puzzle. Just find an online guide and read the motherboard manual. Also, be careful with the pins on the processor, as they are EXTREMELY easily bent and broken. Like don't even touch it to see how easy it is to bend it. Apart from that, it'll be a breeze.

				| Most of the best computers are the ones that were built to suit the user's purposes. I'd rather pick and assemble my own parts than to stick with something that would turn out to be a little less than an OEM machine.
In short, custom-built > pre-built (barebones or whatsoever)

				| Does that seems right? I don't know anything about motherboards, so I might took a crappy/overpriced one. Maybe I'd need a better psu too.

				| You're not doing any serious gaming, so please stop being so obsessed with Intel. To be frank, i5 is quite a waste of money considering there are cheaper AMD alternatives with similar (and even higher) performance. Take the brands and labels away from the hardware and it all depends on the specs inside.
A 450W PSU should be good for now, but if you're considering to upgrade your hardware in the future you might need more overhead. I'd go with 550-650W instead.
