I'm not a big fan of the colors you used for the background.
The black and white version is sexy

For the colored version maybe you can darken venom up a little more on his shades.
Left part looks like empty space even thought it has stuff in it.

not liking the colors, looks like you turned up the contrast up way too high, but I do like the B&W and maybe make your focal stand out a little more

the white burst gets all the attention so tone it down or get rid of it, if your going to make a colorfull background then you have to make your main focal point stand out even more , you could outline the 2 spideys but should definatly make them brighter.
