If you're "Just" using gradients as a back round it looks stupid, and thats completely untrue i'v seen many Sig, back rounds with out gradients.

Not alot of landscaping painting are gradient, the gradient it for a sky, and professionally made to look like the sky, a back ground for a signature or a avatar or a computer back ground etc, looks retarded if it's just gradients.

| Paintings start out with a tone. And usually end up being solid color, or a gradient.
