I am trying to find a attack value of a online game.
protection i dont need to worry thats already disabled.

I have no value to go for, so i have to search for a unknown value.
THen what attack ingame and search again?

Whats the best way to find this?

You need a fast weapon and a slower weapon.
Equip slow weapon and search unknown value, equip fast weapon next search has increased equip slow weapon has decreased equip fast weapon has increased etc etc.

If that fails equip slow weapon search unknown value, equip fast weapon next search has changed equip slow wepaon next search has changed slow wepaon on for a while search has not changed equip fast weapon has changed and so on....

hmm i tried that, but seems the speed is the same all the time.
every weapon has the same speed, every skill the same speed
Its the damage that changes.

Makes it kinda hard to find
i tried searching for unknown value while idle, then attack and search increased value.

Though could be float also

true, but i dont see this happening because its a online game.

unless you mean a unpacked client.

I did find a value, could be the one i am looking for.

But here is the thing
When idle(not in combat) its 0
When in combat its a high number

But changing idle to something higher then 0 will crash the game.
Freezing the high number crashes the game also

i found it as a 4byte number, while running speed is found as a float number.

yes mmorpg, 9dragons.
Client is already unpacked, did that a day or 2 ago.
but i have yet to see how much good that does to me.

nah no console sadly, not many mmorpg have a console.

think the key is in the unpacked client and ce
though try going through that unpacked client with olly or ida

not an easy task, did a lot. but even that is not a easy thing for me.
got to know what your looking for.

well, now try to find the value in the unpacked data, pack it (if possible) or do whatever you can to start the game with that CHANGED value.

i have being going through the unpacked client all morning.
So far i have not really found anything of use.
But i keep searching, its a weird client that i can tell you.
