You already run a 9400, 9800 shouldn't use much more power, it might though.

pci or pci-e?
because there is a pci version of 9400gt 1gb
also 9800gt is same shit as the 4850, just buy which one is on sale.
gaem designer don't give a shit about graphic anymore, a 9800gt would serve nice, so does the 4850, unless you play Crysis on a 2650x 1600 monitor which i doubt.
the 9800 and the 4850 does require pci-e power connector, if your computer was a pre-build, might want to check that out.

The 4850 is (usually) a little better I think, either works.
If you want, I'll sell you mine on the cheap (works fine, just bad ATI Linux drivers).

About 75 USD including shipping? I don't know, it's a 512MB MSI card with a good heatsink & fan. It works fine (overclocks alright, though I never kept it up), decent temps, etc. If anyone's interested PM me, I can get some screenshots up.
EDIT: The 9800GTX+ comes in a little bit better than the 4850 (few FPS at lower resolutions on Crysis), but the 9800GT is a little behind.

I own the 9800gt myself, and I am very happy with it. A few games I play have some crashing problems with ATI cards, but with updated drivers you should be fine. It's really whatever is cheaper.

I mean, you already have a 9500, why get a 9800? If I were you, I would bump it up a bit and get a 4890. Because otherwise, you probably wouldn't even notice the difference that much.
