Cheat Engine

HELP!
Okay, I've been using Cheat engine for a while now, but every now and again i get a problem using it. Whenever i pull up cheat engine and go into the windows list, it freezes and closes the program... Crying or Very sad

its really annoying now and it has worked before. i put it on administrator level and im using windows 64 bits... can some1 plz help asap????

Hmm, mine actually started doing this today as well, not sure what is causing it, possibly a microsoft update... no idea.

Yea i dunno whats causing the problem, i tried a different browser and it didn't work either. i restarted my computer a couple times as well. this really sux Crying or Very sad

Is there some sort of option i have to check or download i gotta insert in???? its killing me

Try this out;
1. Go to the bottom left of your screen, click start
2. Find cheat engine in 'All Programs"
3.Click "Unload kernel Module"
4."Reset Settings"
5.Restart Computer
6.Gather Kernel data
It should work.

Yea i just downloaded ce 5.6 and it still doesnt work for me... i also tried to unload the kernal and stuff and reboot, but the kernal stuff wont work for me.

try disabling the showing of icons in settings (in 5.6) perhaps that makes a difference

also, in 5.6, have you tried waiting 25 seconds? That should be the max time for the windowlist to fill itself

or try redownloading ce, I just uploaded a version that has a limited window list by default
