Yes. I suppose it just depends on what kind of poker game you want, on how hard it would be.

Only that you can draw cards and computer. Than to play like texas holdem poker that zynga made. And yes i know that Zynga made it in flash. But i want to make poker like he did.

Anything's possible, it's just a matter of how hard it is.
If you have your heart set on using VB 2008 to do it, then you might want to try DirectX or OpenGl. I don't know how good VB's internal drawing is.

it uses GDI+, which is more than fast enough for poker
