How should I go about making this look more sphere like? I just can't get it to really pop out.
Edit: Made it look better in general, feedback from people who know anything about art has yet to happen.

This is an entirely new one, I finished it a while ago, but looking back at it now I decided to post it. I might have used one of the same lightning things that I made in this one also, but other than that it's entirely from scratch.

There's not enough spherical depth to the image and the ice doesn't have spherical perspective, it looks flat.

Use multiple instances of the ice texture and try using the warp or liquefy tool to bulge the center a bit more and taper the edges of the sphere, then with the ice behind blur it.
