I need a simple computer for my dad, this is mainly for everyday use, like email checking, adobe acrobat, word processing. Not gaming

A monitor as well preferably 19 - 20 Inches LCD
Intel based not AMD
Mouse, keyboard
Dont need an OS

Please use newegg.ca not .com
thanks in advance

It can be in the range to $400 - $500 W/ Shipping at about $34

Edit: added a build i tried to make
please do tell if it is compatible
thanks

You wanna give me a link to your build
and it matters of .ca and .com because the price is different

Ok how is this build?

It comes to a total of $480.08 With shipping and GST
Note: The monitor is free shipping

Is everything compatible?
I think the Case and PSU is a bit too much?
Suggestions?

Ok great so the above build is compatible correct?

Do you think I would be better off going to AMD, I dont think I would save much maybe $40-50

Is the case too much ?

case comes with psu, unless you have a extra case lying around, then just buy the psu only.

Motherboard normally comes with a set ( around 3-5 sata cables, some even included molex to sata connector and 2 IDE cables) unless is a OPEN BOXED.
