I have a laptop and an external usb keyboard connected.

So is it safe for the laptop to operate w/o the keyboard?

I can see the fan, wires, the guts, etc...

Im doing to prevent overheat becuz it cools down the computer by a few degrees.

the laptop keyboard is

1)blocking airflow

2)too close to the screen, bad for eyes
