Just checking, I was unsure if my mobo only worked with Asus cables or not

No it isn't a Sata power cable ]:

Is there specific size that i need to buy for sata cable or will anyone be fine? _________________

Why are you buying a SATA power cable when your power supply already have it?
Nick has already pointed out to you, it's the black connector.

Or just buy a hard drive online that states its RETAIL not oem, since that comes with a data cable. _________________
