wow, seriously what's with I'm 13 and I know all these _____________.
XD anyways, good job knowing all that! I didn't know a thing when I was 13.
ANYWAYS! In order to create a mmorpg and host it and also maintain it, you will need a team of programmers, designers.
Simply put, creating a game is no job for 1 person! I mean those games takes hundreds of people and years (at least 2+) of developing also featuring alpha, beta, and debug to complete. There is a lot of technical things you need to know before you even just wonder off in your little head and go "cool! I wanna create something like that". The chances are, 99.99% of the time, you will give up after the 2nd or 3rd difficulties or failures.
Simply put again, if you want to learn to how make game, MAKE A TINY GAME FIRST AND LEARN FROM IT. Then grow with it.
Gosh, I just can't stand people who just seen something they really like and go thinking "hmm....maybe I can make it...yeah...that's it! I can do it!" -.-

God you're such a pessimist. Grow up and stop putting down other people's dreams.
I got into making games exactly because of what you put in the bold.
Oh and when I was 13 I knew ActionScript 2, Pascal, C++, and ASM. Oh and Auto it if that counts lul.
My plan of action would be to learn ActionScript 3.
Action Script 3 is the language you have to learn to code in the Flash Player. You can get Flash here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/
Once you have learned AS3, either:
A) Get a free server or buy one(smartfox has a free server with limited connectins: http://www.smartfoxserver.com/)
or
B) Code your own in the language of your choosing
Then learn about Sockets. (Learn here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flash/9.0/ActionScriptLangRefV3/flash/net/Socket.html )
You would also need a graphics designer unless you're a good animator yourself.

I don't see why you guys think an MMO game requires a big huge team, harder than normal work, or anything else that is supernatural.
In reality the hardest part is bugfixes, server maintenance, user base, and the programmers interest.
An mmorpg is nearly identical to any other multiplayer game, except that the player is stored on the server. And the server can support a few thousand more players.
