basically its like this
64 bits system can run any 32 bits program as long as it doesn't need drivers or some OS files.
currently most of programs are for x32 OS but its going to be outdated soon since x32 OS doesn't support more than 4GB of RAM and with i7 and i9 processors, 4GB of ram is too low compared to the 24GB you can use.

Also, gaeming laptop are for retards, is too fucking heavy, too shit for battery life, can't have it on your lap, most of time is going to be at your home, why not get a desktop for half of the price?
don't fucking say you are traveling, what the fuck is traveling with a gaeming laptop suppose to do?

Ummm... your avatar is just... wrong... but i still have to ask where it is from? lol? 
Anyways, I have been building desktops for some time now, two based on the 755 boards for friends and one which I currently own at home: AMD 620 quad with 4890(Planning on an upgrade to x58 this summer, or when the i9 gets released  ). The thing is, it is inconvenient to carry around a desktop while studying in college, or even with LAN party cases like the storm scout (at least for me). I am also taking graphics design class, so a heavy duty quad core laptop is a must, not to mention that 720qm has 8 threads with 2.8GHz turbo. Also, this asus i am looking at has two hard drive cages, very useful indeed.
Desktop is desktop, and laptop is laptop, there are no comparisons between the two as for their purposes are different. I would rather like some G series owner's past experience than you telling me what to get... no offense.

I own a G1, pic related, also a Scout storm case for LAN party
the G1 was ridiculous for the price back then, 1.5k for 8600mgt/ core2duo
attachment is the G1 and another Acer lappy
the g1 burn up so much that i had to buy a cooler, fricking 80C idle
Also, god i love the Scout storm case, but there ain't enough LAN parties to make it worth, i just picked it up because is $35 off, i was just flipping a coin between the antec 900 and this, but whatever
edit: ASUS having some nice lappy this year at CES, might check it out

Dam 80C on idle? How old is it? Does it do that when it is brand new? I know it is pointless but, on load? LOL?

The pre-order on xocticpc.com is already out and it will be delivered anywhere from late January to early February. I don't really understand what you mean by "a while"

bough my lappy two years ago because i got a huge refund
and i barely do shit on that laptop now since is fricking hot without the cooling pad, with cooling pad, 60C idle, 80C load
with no cooling pad, playing gaems on that thing can roam up 100C on HWmonitor
