As I'm aware overvolting the CPU can damage it but undervolting it shouldn't be able to. It'll either be unstable and crash or it wont. The same applies to setting your clock speed too high for the voltage when overclocking.

Yea i left it on over night, was still running when i woke up no errors,
I ended up putting my clock back to 3.6 because i didnt like seeing the temps hit 70+.

70 is ok for an I7 afaik, especially if it was only prime that made it happen

nah, i was expecting OP to have 1 IPS and as display and one 120hz monitor as gaming
Nobody can fucking pull $3600 RMB out of their ass to buy a 5970 and about $3000 RMB for a i7 in China that is

I have a 27.5 inch Hannes G monitor got it on sale for 300$ Razz (free shipping as well) 1920 x 1200 and the temp was around 76 for the higest core..
