So i'm wanting to get a cheap router online but...
I don't know where to find an extremely cheap one for less than $20,
I don't know if they'll be compatible with hooking up to my comcast router(it needs to be hooked up with it)
And i have an old wireless router from my last internet provider and i was wondering if there'd be a way to use it so i don't have to purchase one at all.

If you are looking for the best router under $50, I would have to say from my experience that the Linksys WRT54G2 router is the best. It supports 802.11G but not 802.11N. 802.11N is a new wireless standard but most laptops cannot use 802.11N themselves so this is not a big deal.

You can't really get much for $20.

What is the model of your current wireless router?

@above: since when can't most laptops support 802.11n?

Both linksys and nettgear make a good G router for about 50 bucks and are very functional with game consoles. If you can manage the tax on the router

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10983393 - Linksys

Very good router. No external antenna, good signal range for its type.
