Trying to build a gaming pc based on the limited resources I can find. First of all I seriously have no idea on what I should have picked.

Intel Core 2 quad q8200
NVIDIA Geforce 9600gt Aopen 512 Mb
RAM - Ddr2 800 Mhz Kingston 2gb

I also need to know what power supply and motherboard I need based on that.

Fanboyism:
Corsair 400W, or 520W if you plan to be safe
OCZ are fine when they have a promotion sale

for 775 mobo, look for p45 chipset.
but damn, is 2010 why are you using 775 and a 9600gt? look for a better nvidia card if you are into CUDA stuff.

Yeah, get OCZ if you can.

I haven't tried out any Corsair PSUs yet, but I got a OCZ StealthXStream 500W for 30CAD after a MIR, and it's working great. Really silent as the name suggests, but it peaks at exactly 500W. It doesn't have a little extra that some PSUs have, so if you're not exactly sure if 500W is enough to power your rig, get a 550W to be on the safe side.

Also, what currency is that website with the 9600GT using?

Couldn't find much, however feel free to look at the site.

Also thanks, I'll try to look for those. Will post back if I can't find any.

@Cris - A 9600GT isn't worth 170 dollars man. I bought my 9600GSO for 40CAD.

If you're planning to spend 170USD, get a HD 5770.

I may also add that as I previously said I live in Uruguay. Located in South America, I could explain what its like but I can just tell you that the iPhone 3G(not 3Gs) is worth 500$ here, the 360 just came out(PS3 came out before), I bought my wii for 200$ or so in Canada and here is about 400$.

HD 5770 - # U$S 350, 00

I couldn't find the power supply suggested, however I did find another 550w one. Prob shit

TL:DR; I can't find everything you guys suggest, if I do it will cost 2x-4x more.

No current budget, it would be best to keep it around 800$ or less but otherwise I'll try to reach that amount.
