Eset NOD32/Smart Security, Kaspersky, MalwareBytes, Avast!, Avira, etc...
Basically, all anti-virus programs can detect trojans, worms, malware and such, to answer your question. It's just the matter of detection rate.

well, first make sure u have a firewall. you can install AVG free edition. which is a VERY good antivirus. and u can install malwarebytes anti malware
which is also VERY good virus detector

ehh, I wouldn't really agree with that. AVG used to be good but i would recommend avira or avast for a free anti-virus. To many viruses are like made to take over AVG i have seen a lot of them. Doesn't seem to do a good job. Malawarye bytes on the other hand is a very good scanner. Also i recommend SuperAntiSpyware, another great scanner.

Use ananti virus softwear,a nice one either downloaded or bought from the store. Not so obvious of a question.

| How about an anti-virus? For free is Avira and AVG good. Paid you should go for Avira, ESET or Kaspersky.

| Why is avast! not mentioned? It litterly blocked everything hurtfull last 3 years, and it did not block anything i should use (Expect keygens)

avast has shitloads of false positives
also keygens are supposed to be blocked
