I have windows xp service pack 3 with about 512 mb ram.

Everything was good until i got this virus called "ES1" or something so, anyway all it does is block the "options" on your folder and block "run" commands so its hard to get rid off.

Well I used the NOD32 anti-virus and got rid of it and I ran a script from online to enable my "run" commands and every thing was fine until I restarted.

Problem:
My PC has be come very slow, when I open Windows task manager, random programs start using 100% of my CPU. Or sometimes 2 programs would use 50-50.

After uninstalling the 2 programs I notice a trend, the virus will explode the CPU usage on any other random program it can find.

I know its a virus because when I visit links using fire fox sometimes I get redirected to random sites such as this: http://www.lawyerhub.net/

Yes I scanned my pc 2 times and the anti-virus has found nothing (took hella long)

Currently "System idle process" is using 98 % of my CPU and it isnt something I can uninstall or "end task"

Please if you know this virus plz tell me the location so I can manually delete it or tell me how to fix it thanx.

(btw I would show u the script but the site wont let me upload it "regtools.vbs")

First off; run Malware Bytes Anti Malware - see if it finds anything.

Next; run HijackThis - create a log and post it here for us to look at.

well, see how you have only HALF a gb of RAM, using all ur usage would take very much. i have 2 gb of RAM> although im sure this is probably a virus. u might want to try reformating your hard drive.

Reformating is considered as a last option and his RAM probably has nothing to do with this problem.

Boot in safe mode (with networking) and try FF again. Also run MalwareBytes again in safe mode and hope it will root out more problems.

After that, reboot in normal mode and run HijackThis again to compare to the old report.
