It looks okay but the GUI is just...HORRIBLE. I mean can someone who might possibly have it give some screenshots & features that Win7 Ultimate doesn't?

I prefer Linux (aka Ubuntu) over Windows 7. The only reason I've got Win7 on my laptop is because of Office 2007.

Umm how can you say the GUI is horrible? You must be joking. Or you're using the default GUI, i don't really like it either.
You got compiz installed already, just configure it = pwnage effects and useful functions windows can't dream of yet.

Go to http://gnome-look.org/ and you will find countless themes for applications and the OS itself.
