|
|
I'm going to buy a new desk and i have a choice to get any kind of desk for my laptop to sit on. I want it to conduct all the heat from my laptop. I will also be using a laptop cooler. Is aluminum a good choice? or Plastic? or Glass? ETC?

| A table. Better yet, your lap. They sell like stands on wheels that are good. My mother has one that goes vertical and everything.

A picture would be helpful.

| They sell them at walmart. Its basicly a big metal stick with 2 pieces of wood on top. I cannot find a pic, but they tilt, and the mouse area of the table tilts on its own time

let me get this straight - if you use a laptop cooler then you wouldn't need an extra heat-conducting table, am I right?
You'll want the actual cooler to be made of metal, but for the desk itself, you might find wood a bit more natural to the touch. or something that doesn't give you cold shock when you touch it. anything you like really.

I know this is a bit off-topic...
My laptop is beside a window and its the only window in my room
Its like 3degree C outside and cold air comes in my room and blows into my laptop
Will that be a problem because of condensation? Also its warm inside my room because of my heater which i cannot turn off

if your laptop gets that hot, dont even worry about condensation. It dries too fast. I had a good laptop that had a broken cooling system. I turned the house cooling system on and froze to death while putting the laptop on s floor vent to play gms. Worked fine for a long time.
